My collection so far! 195-65 million years old sea creatures, an some lucky charms.

Righty, I've had an interest and a bit of a nose for finding old/geological/ancient artefacts, and with a massive nudge from dear Tals, this blog has been created and I'll be posting all my finds, plus more!

This is one I found that looked as though it had an imprint of a shell inside. I took shots at as many angles as possible.

A lovely contrast of colours found in this mineral stone, again at differing angles.

This side looked very pudding stone-like.

Also a bone, belonging to an animal, could be ancient or maybe nada.

And this is an interesting piece showing a starfish/jellyfish type creatures imprinted fossil remains, broken out of a large rock.

Apon further research it was found that this sea fossil may be around 195-65 million years old, and belonging to the sea fossil group of ammonites.

A shell imprint in stone, or for those with wild imaginations, a finger print!

Another quite large jellyfish/starfish type ammonite, with a chunk cut down the middle, or just imprinted on the round stone structure?

Finishing off with a set of pictures that include either a spearhead or a bayonet blade, wolverines claw or a fork piece off a pitch fork, and some very old to not so old horse shoes (for that added bit o' luck).

Many thanks for taking the time to look through the pics an have a Lil read! Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions and be sure to keep an eye out for anymore findings!
