Amazing fossil needing identification.

Good afternoon all! I hope everybody's been well and happy. 

Today I have a very interesting find to display and explain, so without further ado:

The two pictures above show two pieces of a jigsaw, as this find was found as a mushroom shaped stone.

After carefully cleaving the mushroom shaped and sized stone (like a neanderthal..), I found that inside was this conical shaped fossil..

The tip is still in the other fragment, which makes this almost horn-like if not for a sea creature type "skin".

Miniature stele and mini clam shell stone!

Hello again everyone, and welcome to the last post for tonight.

These two findings came at the same time as the last post with the pythagorus triangle stone.

Found in the same area also as the last post, an area of chalk and limestone proving to house some very unusual artefacts or amazingly shaped stones:

Pythagorus triangle shaped stone, and two droppings?

Good evening everybody! This a very quick post I'm going to have to leave y'all with, found in amongst a pile of limestone and chalk chunks, kindly excavated by my animal friends.

One is startlingly perfect in shape as a pythagorus triangle, and the other two are two pellet sized droppings by their appearance..

An acquired taste for seafood.. Echinoid (Nucleolites or spatangoida?)..

Good Evening All and Welcome back! 

Tonights post is another Echinoid but I think I have this one narrowed down to a particular type or name. 

This little sea urchin of old is either the Nucleolites or spatangoida brand of Echinoid, jurassic again, with itself sat firm on this strange rock.

Found whilst carefully examining an exposed area of ground displaying sand, chalk and limestone deposits.

Buckinghamshire in the U.K is one of the Shires which is not well known on the Internet to have many fossils, but look in the right areas whilst trekking and you'll be amazed!

Word to the wise is never trespass or dig up any grounds not belonging to yourselves, or without prior consent, but do keep your eyes open for safe areas where the ground is exposed.

Lanzarote special! Volcanic rocks, minerals, gemstones and flowing lava.

Welcome Everyone! Today I have a special post thanks to a very dear friend Olle :) 

Whilst on holiday and Olle has harvested a beautiful collection of volcanic rocks, minerals, and crystals, and gifted me these special findings. 

The first set being olivine and moving through cooled magma, a beautiful mineral needing identification, more amazing chunks of cooled magma, one being shaped like a drip or tooth/claw!

Amazing and beautiful finds which I am very grateful to Olle for, and to collect whilst on a holiday means a lot!
